The company is a major distributor of gasket, jointing and sealing products manufactured by James Walker Group companies. These include hydraulic seals, 'O' rings, sheet jointings, braided and plaited compression packings, cork-elastomer jointings and anti-vibration materials - as well as metal gaskets such as spiral wound, Kammprofile and solid gaskets.
The main industrial sectors we serve are steel, rod and aluminium mills; marine; power generation; civil engineering and construction; transformer manufacture; oil and gas; gearbox manufacture; tunnel boring; military engineering; food processing and chemical processing. Our products are supplied to OEMs and end users.
We provide a fast turn around service for customers who need small quantities swiftly. Since April 2000 we have been producing spiral wound gaskets, and cut gaskets from different sheet materials.
We provide our customers with applications engineering advice on the design of their sealing arrangements, and assist with the initial installation of the seals. Symposiums are held at customers' sites and we also provide training on the fitting of special seals at head office.
