Abrasion resistant gland packings

We manufacture an extensive range of packings that caters for all known operating conditions with valves, rotary or reciprocating pumps and similar plant. Our Aluflon, Arasele, Duramid^®, Hornet and Ramiex gland packings have been specifically developed to cope with abrasive slurries and chemical environments in the mineral processing sector. In addition, our large (50mm and 75mm square) section packings are used to solve gearbox sealing problems on big rotary kilns. 

Rubber linings for mineral handling systems

Geoflex Red HD is a high-strength wear-resistant elastomer that  incorporates all the benefits of existing 'red rubber' quarry lining materials - and introduces several key performance improvements. Geoflex Grey has all the characteristics of Geoflex Red HD, with the additional benefit of improved resistance to ozone.  

Gaskets & jointings

Our Metaflex^® spiral wound gaskets are widely used in nickel processing plants. More generally, we produce precision cut gaskets to any shape, size or complexity from any sheet material, using computer-controlled abrasive waterjet and laser systems that work directly from CAD files. Our sheet jointings cover virtually all fluid handling requirements, with ranges of compressed fibre materials, Supagraf^®graphite-based products, plus Fluolion^® Integra White & Blue creep-resistant PTFE. In addition. we supply a wide range of Gore-Tex^® ePTFE gasket products manufactured by WL Gore & Associates.

Tension control fasteners

RotaBolt^® stud and bolt tension monitoring systems are accurate to ±5%. These are used across all industry sectors where the failure of a bolted system could have serious health & safety, environmental or financial consequences.  RotaBolt^® tension control is recommended for structural, mechanical and flange tightening applications.

Hydraulic sealing components

Our family of hydraulic sealing products covers virtually every hydraulic application. Ranges of rod/gland seals, piston seals, wipers and bearing strips suit the most accurate instruments and control actuators up the heaviest jacks, cylinders and presses. All these products are designed and proven to give optimum equipment performance with long trouble-free operating life.
