AF69/90 - RGD resistant

Description
AF69/90 is a highly-developed synthetic rubber based on Aflas® FEPM polymer from Asahi Glass. James Walker compounds this grade for good RGD resistance with wide chemical compatibility.

From +5°C  (at atmospheric pressure)  to +205°C  (+41°F  to +401°F).

Tensile strength:  23MPa (3336psi)
Modulus @ 50% elongation: 11MPa (1595psi)
Modulus @ 100% elongation: 21.4MPa (3104psi) 
Elongation at break:  115%
Low temperature torsion modulus T70: +5°C (+41°F)

Compression set: 24 hours @ 175°C (347°F):  17%
Compression set: 24 hours @ 200°C (392°F):  19%

Air ageing: 70 hours @ 250°C (482°F)
   Change in hardness:  +2 IRHD
   Change in TS:  -11%
   Change in E @ B:  +5%

Fluid immersion testing: Oil #3 (IRM 903), 70 hours @ 150°C (302°F)
   Change in hardness:  -13 IRHD 
   Change in TS:  -30%
   Change in E @ B:  +9%
   Change in volume:  +14%

Fluid immersion testing: Methanol, 70 hours @ 40°C (104°F)
   Change in hardness: -3 IRHD
   Change in TS: -18%
   Change in E @ B: -8%  
   Change in volume: +2%

Fluid immersion testing: Water, 70 hours @ 100°C (212°F)
   Change in hardness:  +1 IRHD
   Change in TS: -18%
   Change in E @ B: -10%  
   Change in volume:  +2%
