Description AF85/90 is a general purpose, extrusion resistant grade of FEPM, with a nominal hardness rating of 90 IRHD.
Based on an Aflas® compound from Asahi Glass, it has excellent resistance to oils, lubricants and some fuels approaching that of fluoroelastomer dipolymers. It also exhibits excellent resistance to steam, amines, bases and hydrogen sulphide. The working temperature range of AF85/90 is +5°C (+41°F) to +205°C (+401°F).
