Duracom - for valves

Description
Duracom is our tough, yet economical, general-purpose gland packing for valve stems, as well as rotary and reciprocating duties in pumps and other equipment.

It is manufactured from aramid fibres impregnated and densified with particles of PTFE. An inert thermally-stable lubricant is incorporated during production to improve its performance in rotary applications.

This product is cross-plaited on the most modern machinery to give high-quality construction with uniform density and compressibility.

Typical applications
Duracom is recommended for use in valves and pumps where an economical PTFE-impregnated gland packing is required.

It is suitable for general industrial service, as well as duties in the marine, paper and petrochemical sectors. This packing is especially suited to pumps that handle water, effluent, and aggressive and abrasive media.
