Description
This highly-developed hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) of 90 IRHD is widely used for sealing duties at oilfields worldwide, where its excellent explosive (ED) decompression resistance enables it to work most efficiently with high pressures gases.
It is qualified to the stringent Norsok M-710 standard, which covers both ED resistance and sour gas (H2S) ageing tests. Additionally, the material has the excellent oil and fuel resistance of conventional nitrile (NBR) elastomers, combined with superior mechanical properties, improved chemical resistance, better thermal capability, and outstanding abrasion resistance.
Elast-O-Lion® 101 is also approved to many other ED-resistance specifications by end users and equipment manufacturers.
Its working temperature range is -25°C (-13°F) to +160°C (+320°F) constant, or to +177°C (+350°F) intermittent.
