Epichlorohydrin (ECO)
Chemical properties
Compounds based on this elastomer have very good resistance to mineral oils, fuels and ozone.
Typical operating temperatures
-30°C to +150°C continuous, or +175°C intermittent.
Fluid sealing duties
Corrosive properties and poor compression set resistance limit the use of ECO for sealing applications.
James Walker standard grades
Supplied in hardnesses of 70-90 IRHD.
