Description LR5853/90 is an FKM tetrapolymer-based synthetic elastomer with a high fluorine content.
It has enhanced fluid resistance, especially to methanol and gasoline-based blends that adversely affect other fluoroelastomers.
Temperature capability is 0°C (+32°F) to +230°C (+446°F), and its nominal hardness is 90 IRHD. As it stiffens below -5°C (+23°F), our FR25 and LR6316 compounds are recommended for low temperature use.
