Metcom® gaskets

Description
A thin corrugated steel joint with pressed concentric grooves 6mm wide. Two adjacent grooves on either side are filled with beads of expanded graphite tape - either standard or high purity grades, depending on application.

When compressed between flanges, the metal corrugations provide the sealing capacity and this is enhanced by the graphite beads.
