Description This acrylonitrile/butadiene-based (NBR) sythentic elastomer contains nominally 21% ACN. It is specially compounded by James Walker for low temperature flexibility whilst retaining excellent resistance to a wide range of media, including mineral oils and water/glycol hydraulic fluids.
It has a nominal hardness of 70 IRHD, and a working temperature range of -50°C (-58°F) to +110°C (+230°F).
Although nitrile elastomers are not normally considered high performance per se, we include this grade for its special characteristics.
