Description PB80 is one of our most popular acylonitrile/butadiene (NBR) based elastomers. We specially compound this grade to give low compression set and low swell in with mineral oils. It is particularly recommended for duties with mineral-based hydraulic fluids - as well as water and some solvents - and is one of our standard grades for 'O' rings.
The working temperature range of this 80 IRHD compound is -25°C (-13°F) to +110°C (+230°F).
Although nitrile elastomers are not normally considered high performance per se, we include this grade for its special characteristics.
