Description Our new Supagraf® Boilermaster gaskets are manufactured from high purity braided graphite ribbon. They are specifically designed to withstand higher temperatures and pressures than those accepted by the standard moulded rubber gaskets often used on boilers doors and handholes.
Typical applications Supagraf® Boilermaster is a cost-effective and reliable alternative to the various types of folded proofed-cloth gasket used on boiler doors and handholes. It is flexible and deformable, and readily compresses sufficiently to seal uneven mating flange surfaces. This gasket is also easy to fit, and can be removed cleanly without any of the chiselling that frequently damages flange surfaces.

Service capabilities Maximum steam temperature: 230°C (This equates to a saturated steam pressure of 27bar. Please consult James Walker for use at higher temperatures and pressures.)
Chemical capabilities Excellent chemical resistance in the range pH 0-14. The materials of construction have negligible volatile content, which means the gasket does not reduce in volume at high temperatures to impair sealing efficiency. It also has a low content of the impurities that can cause corrosion, including chloride and sulphur.
How supplied As endless joints to fit doors and handholes of circular, oval, elliptical and obround shapes - from 45mm ID to 610mm ID. To fit flange widths from 9.5mm to 38mm. All standard gaskets are 6.5mm thick. Sizes outside these dimensions will be considered on request.
Also supplied as length form in standard widths and thicknesses for on-site or workshop-based maintenance.
