Description
This nitrile (NBR) material and method of construction are the most popular for the majority of Walkersele® radial lip seal applications. Walkersele® M1 suits housings fitted with retaining plates.
Media compatibility
Suitable for use with water and the majority of oils and greases.
Seal construction
Flexible back of nitrile-proofed cotton fabric, with lip of 80 IRHD nitrile.
Maximum under-lip temperature
120°C constant: but note that under-lip temperature can often be substantially higher (eg, by 30°C) than fluid media temperature.
Maximum surface speeds
15m/s with Walkersele® D6 design.
12m/s with Walkersele® D7 design.
