Devol boosts James Walker's polymer engineering expertise

Whilst many UK engineering companies are struggling to retain and recruit qualified staff, James Walker Moorflex at Bingley, West Yorkshire, has been able to grow 20 per cent, year-on-year, by retaining its experienced engineers and training new apprentices.

Metallic bellows manufactured in Croatia are now marketed by James Walker under its Comflex^® brand name, following a partnership agreement with Ðuro Ðakoviæ Kompensatori (DDK).

After 125 years as a major supplier of sealing products to valve manufacturers and users, James Walker has joined the ranks of the British Valve and Actuator Association.

James Walker celebrated 125 years of success with an Anniversary Open Day at its Cockermouth plant in Cumbria.
