James Walker celebrated 125 years of success with an Anniversary Open Day at its Cockermouth plant in Cumbria.
Heading the festivities was the company's furry lion mascot accompanied by James Walker & Co managing director Paul Myerscough (right).
Visitors included staff and families, along with the local community, schools, suppliers and other companies.
The lion explained that there was plenty of entertainment for all — BBQ, fair rides, brass band, bouncy castle, fire service and mountain rescue displays, plus of course, factory tours.
