Description
A white conformable packing of cross-plait construction. Made from a highly developed yarn, comprising a fine reinforced glass insert with a spun cover of polyolefin fibre, all coated and impregnated with PTFE micro-particles and an inert pure petroleum lubricant.
Typical applications
Developed for pumps handling caustic slurries in the alumina processing industry. Also recommended for pumps and valves throughout the sewage treatment sector, where its universal application will save greatly on stockholding costs, and in chemical processing for handling media across the widest pH range including those containing suspended solids.
