Description
A top performing flax-based packing. This dense and flexible, yet compressible, product is plaited from good quality flax yarns, each uniformly impregnated with tenacious tallow lubricant then coated with graphite. Flax yarns are selected for strength, durability, rot resistance and lubricant retention properties.
Typical applications
General service in hydraulic rams, valves, reciprocating pumps and accumulators - particularly in aqueous environments where the tallow lubricant minimises friction and helps to protect contacting metal surfaces.
