Description
Dense yet flexible packing, plaited from good quality flax yarns. Each yarn is impregnated with a high purity petroleum jelly and coated with flake graphite prior to plaiting. Flax yarns are selected for strength, durability rot resistance and lubricant retention properties.
Typical applications
Highly popular for marine use on smaller stern glands and bilge pumps. Also for land-based pumps handing waste water and sewage.
