Description
This fluoroelastomer (FPM/FKM) material and method of construction are suitable for Walkerseles operating in high temperature environments. Walkersele® M8 is a self-retaining seal for use in open housings.
Media compatibility
Excellent resistance to all lubricating oils, fuels, air, water and dilute acids.
Seal construction
Fluoroelastomer (FPM/FKM) with steel band located in its back.
Maximum under-lip temperature
200°C constant: but note that under-lip temperature can often be substantially higher (eg, by 30°C) than fluid media temperature.
Maximum surface speeds
20m/s with Walkersele® D6 design.
18m/s with Walkersele® D7 design.
