Description This fluoroelastomer (FPM/FKM) material and method of construction are suitable for Walkerseles operating in high temperature environments or at high surface speeds. Walkersele® M9 suits housings fitted with retaining plates.
Media compatibility Excellent resistance to all lubricating oils, fuels, air, water and dilute acids.
Seal construction Flexible back of fluoroelastomer-proofed synthetic fibre, with lip of fluoroelastomer.
Maximum under-lip temperature 200°C constant: but note that under-lip temperature can often be substantially higher (eg, by 30°C) than fluid media temperature.
Maximum surface speeds 25m/s with Walkersele® D6 design. 22m/s with Walkersele® D7 design.
