Bowled over by top quality

First class cricket in England is being played this season with Oxbridge balls manufactured by James Walker company Tiflex.
The English Cricket Board decided it was time to improve the quality of balls used in first class matches after years of problems with balls going out of shape and soft during play.
After carefully considering the quality of the Tiflex ball, the ECB introduced it for the 2008 season. The MCC quickly followed suit and has specified the Oxbridge range of balls for many of its prestigious fixtures.
Commented Tiflex operations director Hugh Rogers: "Many of the top leagues, clubs and schools have already moved over to our range of Oxbridge balls and are now enjoying the benefits.”
