James Walker joins BVAA

After 125 years as a major supplier of sealing products to valve manufacturers and users, James Walker has joined the ranks of the British Valve and Actuator Association.
Formed in 1939, this highly successful trade organisation has 91 member companies in the UK.
BVAA's  autumn 2007 meeting was hosted at James Walker's Cockermouth headquarters, where 14 delegates, plus BVAA director Rob Bartlett and technical consultant Peter Churn, were given the opportunity to see how  compression packings, 'O' rings and gaskets are made.
Reported Rob Bartlett: "The wealth of fluid sealing experience that James Walker brings to the BVAA will be of great benefit to other members, and greatly complements our existing activities.”
