Walkersele® Milllglide is the cost-effective material of choice for rolling chocks and heavy duty gearbox applications in the metallurgical sector. Based on reformulated hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR), this material offers significant improvements over nitrile (NBR) where assured performance is needed to fulfil maintenance regimes.
Millglide K suits housings fitted with retaining plates. Millglide M is suitable for self-retaining seals installed in open housings.

Millglide K - Flexible back of HNBR-proofed aramid/glass fabric, with lip of 80 IRHD hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR).
Millglide M - Moulded in 80 IRHD hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR), with a stainless steel band encapsulated in its back.
Maximum under-lip temperature
150°C constant, or 170°C constant in oil. But note that under-lip temperature can often be substantially higher (eg, by up to 30°C) than the fluid media temperature.
Maximum surface speed
Millglide K: 15m/s with Walkersele® D6 design.
Millglide M: 12m/s with Walkersele® D6 design.
Walkerseles are manufactured to order in Millglide K and Millglide M materials. Both material types are suitable for endless-form seals. Seals in Millglide K are also available as Walkersele® OSJ-2 for On-Site Joining: this type is suitable only for housings with retaining plates.
