Vermilion® Four

High performance elastomer for sour and rapid gas decompression resistance.

An excellent cost-effective general purpose fluoroelastomer (FKM) providing outstanding resistance to rapid gas decompression (RGD) at larger cross sections and higher temperatures, this material also provides excellent resistance to H2S plus the tolerance to aromatics and hot water typical of a peroxide cured FKM.

Vermilion Four is a next generation development of our industry leading FR 58/90 material providing significant performance enhancements.

This product has been independently 3rd party tested and is validated by James Walker for use in hydrogen and CO2 service. Contact us for further details.

  • Low temperature: sealing capability confirmed down to -33°C (-27°F) in product configured testing
  • TR10 -19°C (-2°F)
  • T70 -16°C (+3°F)
  • High temperature: continuous +200°C (+392°F)
