We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives in the field—someone who can build strong customer relationships, understand technical needs, and drive real growth through smart, strategic selling.

What You'll Do – Your Mission:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the frontline driver of growth and customer success. You strategically identify, develop, and tactically build and follow up a continuous pipeline of new business opportunities.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Drive business growth by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing high-potential opportunities.

  • Manage sales pipeline, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to consistently exceed targets.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, delivering consultative solutions and exceptional service.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute effective commercial strategies.

  • Promote products and services across multiple channels while staying ahead of market trends.

  • Prepare proposals, present opportunities, and expand networks through events and social media.

  • Continuously enhance skills and industry knowledge through training, research, and workshops.

What You Bring:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Customer-focused with strong consultative, value-based sales, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Credible, professional, emotionally intelligent, and adaptable to change.

  • Strategic, commercially analytical, and able to overcome objections.

  • Excellent presentation, influencing, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented.

  • Proficiency with IT and Microsoft Office tools; able to read and understand technical drawings.

  • Experience in sales roles, including winning new business and managing multi-product/complex solutions.

  • Applicants must have native-level proficiency in Swedish and professional level of English

Preferred:

  • Engineering background with knowledge of sealing technology and technical applications.

  • Expertise in delivering sealing solutions across industries.

  • Experience handling technical issues in sales contexts.

  • Ability to develop compelling marketing campaigns.

  • Deep knowledge of James Walker products and applications.

  • Exposure to contractual negotiations in sales roles.
