Rod / gland seals

Our rod / gland seals cover virtually every industrial application.

Rod seals are designed to prevent hydraulic fluid from leaking from the rod of a hydraulic cylinder and thereby eliminating loss of system pressure. Similar to wiper seals, rod seals also help to prevent external contaminants from entering the system.

Many of the James Walker designs are pressure-responsive and designed to help compensate for worn or uneven surfaces on other components.
