CNC Lane Operator

We are seeking for a motivated and skilled CNC Lane Operator to join our dynamic team in Netherlands.

At James Walker, we engineer world-class sealing solutions for the most demanding applications across oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, marine, and heavy industries.

We are immediately looking for a CNC Lane Operator for our Local Service Mechanical Seals department. Through on-the-job training and a varied range of tasks, you will be challenged to further develop your talents and grow personally.

What You'll Do – Your Mission:

Your workspace is in our service department, where you will work in a small team of passionate colleagues. Your duties will consist of independently manufacturing primarily small series of parts and machining existing parts for the refurbishment department. Both CNC and conventional machining are part of the job.

You will work in a small but high-quality machine park.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Independently producing parts according to the dimensions and precise tolerances of the drawing.

  • Independently programming the CNC lathe and milling machine.
    Common materials include: SS316(L), Duplex, Bronze, Carbon, and PTFE.

  • Modifying existing parts for refurbishment work.

  • Actively contributing to increasing the customer satisfaction index.

What You Bring:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • You have a Level 3 All-round Machinist diploma (BBL) or equivalent through knowledge and experience, and are an enthusiastic, dynamic, and customer-focused individual.

  • You have knowledge of the product and service package or are willing to develop your skills in this area.

  • You can handle responsibility, are entrepreneurial, and convert opportunities into results.

  • You have extensive experience in CNC/conventional turning and milling.

  • You are proactive and have a flexible work ethic.

  • You are a team player but can also work independently.

  • You are practical and solution oriented.

  • You are eager to learn and work accurately. Current machines/controls:

  • Emco E-255/Sinumerik 802D

  • Mazak QT250MY/Mazatrol Matrix

  • King Rich knee-mill/Prototrak MK2

  • Migromatic MD750 lathe
