O-rings

O-rings for oil and gas duties

We precision-mould O-rings in over 100 high-performance and general grades of elastomer - and stock many thousands of different types and sizes ready for immediate despatch.

A vast number of these are in the rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistant materials and sizes specified by operators and manufacturers of oilfield equipment.

If we do not hold the exact sizes of O-rings you require in the materials you need, we have the flexible production systems to mould them on very short lead times - for supply within days.


High performance O-ring materials

  • FR58/90 - rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistant grade of fluorocarbon (FKM), based on Chemours Co. Viton®. This grade is Norsok M-710 qualified for RGD resistance and sour gas ageing.
  • FR25/90 - rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistant grade of fluorocarbon (FKM) with low temperature capability. This grade is Norsok M-710 qualified for RGD resistance and sour gas ageing.
  • Elast-O-Lion® 101 - rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistant grade of hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) developed for oilfield duties. This grade is Norsok M-710 qualified for RGD resistance and sour gas ageing.
  • Elast-O-Lion® 985 - rapid gas decompression (RGD) resistant grade of hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) with low temperature capability. Developed for oilfield duties.
  • PB80 - medium nitrile (NBR) grade for general applications. Excellent oil resistance.
  • FR10/80 - fluorocarbon (FKM) for general applications. Excellent chemical resistance.
  • Elast-O-Lion® 180 - hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR) grade for general applications. Excellent resistance to oils, fuels and abrasive wear.
  • EP18/H/75 - ethylene-propylene (EPM) grade with excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, water and steam.
  • SIL 80/2 - silicone (VMQ) grade with good resistance to weathering and compression set at high temperatures.
