We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative who thrives in the field—someone who can build strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and drive real growth through smart, strategic selling.
What You'll Do – Your Mission:
As an ISR, you’ll be responsible for handling quotations and orders for a defined customer base within the internal sales team, to achieve the established sales targets and KPIs. You will be part of a small team and report to the Team Leader Internal Sales.
Your key responsibilities include:
Processing customer inquiries, checking feasibility, and determining sales prices, creating quotations and proactively following them up
Complete handling of customer orders, including order entry, creation of order confirmations, monitoring of all supplier deadlines and contract review.
Advising customers and building effective customer relationships to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
Working closely with the field sales team to ensure the best possible customer service
Collaborating closely with the technical team regarding technical requirements
Contributing to the further development of modern sales tools and processes
Working closely with our manufacturing sites internationally to clarify contractual requirements
Handling customer complaints
What You Bring:
Essential Skills & Experience:
Commercial qualification and several years of experience in an internal sales position, preferably within an internationally operating company.
You have a good technical understanding.
You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
Your working style is characterized by initiative and customer orientation.
You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
You have strong written and spoken German and English skills.
You are proficient in MS Office (Word) and familiar with a common ERP/CRM system.
Preferred:
Engineering background with knowledge of sealing technology and technical applications.
Experience handling technical issues in sales contexts.
Deep knowledge of James Walker products and applications.
