The Position

We are currently looking to recruit two Operators on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Based at the Manufacturing Business Unit in Cockermouth, Cumbria working in the Logistics Department.

The hours of work are 37 hours per week on day shift (Monday to Thursday 08.00 am – 4.00 pm and Fridays 08.00 am – 1.00 pm). The starting salary is Grade A (£26,058.14 per annum) with the ability to progress to Grade C (£28,802.42 per annum).

Key responsibilities

• Picking and packing of all customer orders to the agreed packing standard following visual standards.
• Preparation and creation of bespoke packaging as required.
• Ensuring inventory accuracy by conducting daily cycle counts and quarterly stock checks.
• General housekeeping.
• Responsibility of quality of own work.
