Moulded & mould joined
This method of O-ring production is used when a non-standard ring must have a diameter section to very close tolerances, and a vulcanised mould join is acceptable.
When the non-standard O-ring internal diameter is over 2.2m, two or more smaller rings are precision manufactured using our high integrity moulding technique. The rings are then cut and mould joined to make one larger O-ring.
If the O-ring internal diameter is less than 2.2m, then a single O-ring of a slightly larger size is precision moulded. This is cut back and mould-joined to the correct ID.
With our flexible production schedules, we can meet the most urgent demands of industry for non-standard O-rings produced by this technique.
