Insolion® HT

The Insolion HT flange isolation kit utilises high temperature sealing materials for raised temperature capability.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
  • Oil & Gas

The gasket consists of a kammprofile metal core faced with two sealing materials. The inner kamm portion is faced with our Centurion X CNAF material and the outer section with specially modified high temperature DS Pro material.

Each Insolion HT flange insulation kit is supplied with silicone reinforced mica sleeves and a unique washer combination consisting of both metal washers and a specially modified high temperature DS Pro material.

  • Flange isolation for oil and gas and other processing applications
  • Media compatibility with natural gas, oils, fuels and other hydrocarbon media
  • Specified for plant-wide use on the majority of flange specifications including ASME, API, EN, BS and DIN
  • Flange insulation and electrical isolation in conjunction with cathodic protection
  • Insulation between dissimilar metals / flanges to prevent galvanic corrosion.

  • Maximum temperature: +300°C (+572°F)
  • Minimum temperature: -45°C (-50°F)
  • Maximum pressure: 10 MPa/100 bar (1450 psi) (ASME Class 600, EN1514-1 PN100)

  • API 6FB 3rd Edition Fire Test

  • Insolion HT can be supplied in sizes from NB 1/2" to 24" diameter to match the majority of flange specifications including ASME, API, EN, BS, ISO and DIN
  • Custom dimensions and sizing options are available upon request
  • Insolion HT is supplied as a kit suitable for the specific flange size and class rating required. This kit includes:
  1. Insolion HT gasket
  2. Mica bolt sleeves
  3. DS Pro washers
  4. Metallic backup washers in stainless steel
