The D10 Walkersele represents a new generation patented design within our well proven family of radial lip seals for rotating shafts and rotating plant. This specialised fingerspring energised design is specifically optimised for the sealing of the main bearings of the very largest wind turbines and can cope with dynamic radial eccentricities of up to +/- 3 mm (1/8").

  • Fingerspring design achieves consistent lip load at even the largest diameters and makes installation simpler than other spring options
  • Long term fatigue testing shows consistent response even at high speed, ensuring the sealing lip remains in contact with the sealing surface at all times
  • Validated to operate at dynamic radial eccentricities of up to +/- 3mm (1/8”) at surface speeds of up to 2 m/s
  • Fingerspring design provides optimal lip load to reduce torque, under lip temperature, and wear
