Electrical Craftsperson

We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Craftsperson who will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will be based on site at Cockermouth, Cumbria.

The role of an Electrical Craftsperson involves working alongside a team of Engineers, under the leadership of the team leader and manager. You’ll be directly responsible for providing a prompt and responsive breakdown diagnosis and carrying out electrical planned maintenance across a range of plant and machinery in line with the weekly plan.

Here are the key things you need to know:

• Carrying out electrical maintenance and installation activities to James Walker standards.
• Finding faults and solutions across a range of James Walker equipment.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance work on James Walker equipment.
• Interrogating PLC Systems.
• Contributing towards company and department success including the achievement of KPIs.
