Quality Administrator
The Position
To provide an excellent quality level of documentation and data control whilst working within the Quality Assurance team. Maintenance of all quality records generated by the business assisting with the evaluation and collation of quality related documentation, including material certification. Support the Quality Administrative activities across the business. Assist with the development of total quality management
Key responsibilities
- Prepare documentation / certification relevant to shipments.
- Verify incoming material certification against internal and customer specifications.
- Collaborate & communicate effectively with other departments both onsite & within the James Walker global group.
- Creation of Customer complaints and Supplier non-conformances on internal complaints system (MyCase)
- Liaise with relevant departments and customers to ensure that MyCase actions are investigated with the relevant business areas, root cause analysis is carried out against any documentation issues and the corrective action taken to prevent reoccurrence is effective and robust.
- Coordinate Notification of Inspections (NOI’s) & liaise with third party inspectors onsite , managing the schedule and coordinating documentation, product storage & availability.
- Support the QA team with external audits where required.
- Support the QMS compliance through Docushare
- Answer any customer queries on progress updates, certification or documentation.
- Undertake all training pertinent to the development of your role as required by the business.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Understanding of ERP systems.
- Ability to read and understand customer specifications / requirements
- Experience working with Quality management Systems
Preferred
- Product and Industry knowledge.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Requirements.
